An Object of Restraint
Obsidian Sovereign began with a belief that true authority rarely needs ornament. It is found in proportion, composure and the confidence to leave space untouched.
Kaelvorny imagined a decanter for the quietest room in the house: a private library after dusk, a dark walnut table and the final conversation of an evening that was never hurried.
It was created to command a room without ever raising its voice.
The Story
Obsidian Sovereign was imagined as an object discovered in a private collection—precise in form, restrained in expression and impossible to overlook.
Its name comes from the black crystal stopper that rests above the bottle like a seal of command. Below it, colorless crystal remains open to the surrounding light, creating a deliberate contrast between darkness and clarity.
The result belongs to no passing fashion. It feels contemporary in its simplicity and enduring in its presence.
The Design
The tall, balanced silhouette gives Obsidian Sovereign a composed architectural presence.
Broad vertical planes allow the colorless crystal to remain open and luminous, while strong symmetrical diagonal cuts bring depth and movement to the lower body.
A restrained antique-brass collar introduces warmth between the clear bottle and the black stopper. Nothing is added without purpose. Its character comes from scale, proportion and disciplined geometry.
